Data we process
When you create an account, you provide a name, username, email and password, stored as a hash. We also process the content you publish, images, comments, likes, favourites and connections between members. Sessions may store your IP address and technical browser information to operate and secure your account.
Purposes and legal bases
We use this data to create and manage your account, save your realities and provide the features you request. Processing needed to deliver the service is based on performing that relationship; protecting the application and preventing abuse is based on the legitimate interest of keeping the community safe.
Content visibility
Your name and username identify your public profile. A private reality can only be viewed by its author. A reality published on this subdomain can be viewed by visitors. Choosing Mundiversia too allows the blog to display the reality. Your email and password are not published on your profile.
Your profile, biography and public content may appear in search engines. Making a story private or deleting it removes public access in this application, but search results and copies stored by third parties may take time to update.
Account security and moderation
We send email verification and password recovery messages to protect account access. These service emails are separate from optional activity notifications. We limit repeated attempts to prevent abuse.
Reports contain the reason, optional description, identified content and reporting account. Only the authorised team reviews this data. The reported author does not receive the reporter’s identity. We retain moderation decisions and their reasons to follow up on situations and review decisions. To request a review or exercise your rights, contact geral@mundiversia.com.
Email notifications
Activity emails are optional and remain off until you enable them. Choose likes, comments, new followers, forks and new stories from people you follow. We use your email address and chosen language to deliver these notifications through the configured mail service. You can turn off each type in account settings and adjust notifications for individual authors on their profiles.
Weekly challenge responses are public, identified by the author’s name and can be updated or deleted by their author.
Drafts, versions and collections
Drafts are automatically saved to your account and can only be viewed by their author. Version history keeps earlier versions so you can recover your work. Collections are personal. Followed story notifications respect email preferences and story visibility.
Retention and recipients
Account data and content are retained for as long as needed to provide the service or comply with applicable obligations. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process data to operate the service. External images, when present, are requested from their provider, which receives technical connection information.
Retention criteria depend on the purpose: accounts maintain access to the service; drafts, versions and collections let you continue or recover your work; support messages are kept while investigating and following up on requests; technical logs are used to investigate faults and abuse. Erasure requests are assessed according to the data involved and any retention obligations.
Required data and optional choices
Required form fields are needed to create an account or carry out your request. Without this data, the feature may be unavailable. Your biography, images, reply email in the contact form and activity notifications are optional. You can change email preferences in your account settings.
Bugs and suggestions
When you report a bug or send a suggestion, we store the message, request type and the email you optionally provide. If you are signed in, the request is linked to your account. This data is used to review and reply to your request, and the message is sent to the Mundiversia team through the configured email service.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing where applicable. To exercise these rights or ask about retention periods, contact:
geral@mundiversia.comYou can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
